As a teenager John Martino Sr. was working in his fathers butcher shop on Rhinelander avenue in the Morris Park section of The Bronx. After a few years he started working with one of the stores suppliers, a Boar's Head Distributor. In 1974 at the age of Twenty he jumped at the opportunity to purchase a small part of that route. Working together with his father Al on a small run down truck they created a family business that has grown to involve over 20 family members and has branched off into seven distributorships. A true success story. Today John Sr. is joined by His son John who is a third generation owner of the business.
